As Enterprise Coordinator I support the Careers Leaders of secondary schools and FE colleges in North and Mid Devon to develop their careers programme. I’ve worked in the careers field since 2000 where I started as a careers adviser in West Oxfordshire secondary schools before taking up a post as Careers Consultant at Oxford Brookes University. I moved to North Devon and after a brief stint as a jobbing gardener, I became the Careers Leader and Careers Adviser for Petroc College of FE. I’ve been an Enterprise Coordinator since 2021 and I very much enjoy supporting Careers Leaders to develop careers activities that meet the Gatsby benchmarks.

I enjoy being out and about in the North Devon countryside with my family, I love travelling and have just started in amateur dramatics playing a very drunk lord of the manor! BUT my passion is ceramics, I’m an amateur potter with ambition to appear on Channel 4’s The Great Pottery Throwdown; but I need a lot more practice!
