Enterprise adviser role
Being an Enterprise Adviser is a great way of developing your skills whilst getting young people excited about your industry. It’s also a great way to raise awareness of your business in the local community.
Our Enterprise Advisers have already made a huge difference to the lives of young people across Devon, Plymouth & Torbay – hear more from some of our existing volunteers below.
Our Enterprise Advisers:
- Work with one local school or college to develop their strategy for careers education
- Help promote pathways into their industry / sector
- Use their skills, business experience and network to support activities and create opportunities for young people to experience the world of work
- Act as a critical friend
- Bridge the gap between education and the world of work
- Are an ambassador for the work of the Careers Hub
