Learning from Career and Labour Market Information
Every student & parent should have access to high quality information that relates to the labour market, as well as information around future options to study
What does good look like?
- By age 14 (End of Key Stage 3) all students should have accessed, used, and understood information that relates to the labour market & career paths which they can use to make informed decisions about their study future study options.
- Parents/carers should be provided with access to labour market information and encouraged to use this to help support their children with their future study options and career paths
- Schools/Colleges should also provide local labour market information to highlight the opportunities & growth areas within their local area to support their future career decisions
We have developed these resources to help explain more about the labour market across the area
