Nicky Henderson

I manage the team of Enterprise Co-ordinators working across Devon, and I engage with many stakeholders including Local Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, Sector Organisations and Multi Academy Trusts. I lead the Cornerstone Employer Group, and I oversee the recruitment of Enterprise Advisers.

I love my job as I meet some amazing people, of all ages and backgrounds, who are truly inspiring.

My career journey started in the civil service working in different roles including an Accounts Clerk, Team Leader, Regional Fraud Manager and National Implementation Manager.  I then moved into a conservation charity, setting up and running a programme working with young people who had never had a job before. I then became a Supply Chain Manager on a programme supporting people back into the workplace, then onto the National Careers Service working on the Inspiration Agenda linking schools with business and finally into my current role.

I love watching rugby, going skiing, pottering around in my garden and cooking for friends and family. I am also partial to going to the theatre to see a musical, and watching other people who are way more talented than me make amazing things on programmes like Bake Off, Sewing Bee and Great Pottery Throw Down!
