To enable students to have the information and skills needed to apply for an Apprenticeship.
Set up a Apprenticeship Club – 10 students x 6 sessions
Session 1 – What are Apprenticeships and where to find them.
Session 2 – Creating a CV.
Session 3 – Writing a cover letter.
Session 4 Virtual session with employer or training provider.
Sessions 5 & 6 Applications
With restrictions on none curriculum activity we realised that students weren’t getting the support they needed with their applications so by setting up a specific club held at morning break (30mins) we could get around the timetabling issue.
Last year all of the attendees secured an Apprenticeship.
